2. Generic content that could apply to any agent. Real client reviews mention specific details (the home, the neighborhood, the negotiation, the agent by name). Reviews that say "amazing service, highly recommend, 5 stars" without specifics are often fake.
3. Reviewer accounts with single reviews and no profile history. Fake reviewer accounts are often used once and abandoned. Reviewer profiles with multiple reviews across multiple businesses over time are more credible.
4. Identical or near-identical phrasing across multiple reviews. Sometimes review services use templated language, producing reviews that are detectably similar.
5. Reviews only on platforms with weak verification. Heavy review counts on platforms that do not verify transactions (some free directories, some review aggregators), without parallel review counts on Zillow or platforms with verification is a flag.
